How Are We Going To Reach Our Vision?

Our plan for reaching our Vision will occur in three major phases covering the next several years.

The Awakening

January 2003 - Spring 2004

The Awakening phase has already begun!

Turn on "The Passion"

Part of the Awakening will be to get the congregation excitied about the possibilities that await our congregation. This means growing in our walk with Christ, growing in our ministries to our community, and growing together as a community of Christians.

Stewardship Buildup

We will be encouraging our members use their talents, abilities, and resources to expand the outreach of our congregation.

Test the Waters

We will be attempting to judge the response of the congregation to the new focus on stewardship, and making sure we are not setting our sights too low!

Capital Campaign #1

Fall 2003 - 2006

The Capital Campaign #1 has three major goals these are:

Secure Funding For New Land

We are currently pursuing several land options for our future site. These include a 7.5 acre location in the proposed Town of Chancellorsville. If the development if not approved, there is a backup offer of 7.5 acres on the Mullins property.

We will also consider other available lots within 2 miles of our present location. If anyone knows of such a lot, please contact the Church Council.

Reduce Our Current Mortgage

We have a mortgage on our current location that we are seeking to pay down. Paying this mortgage down now will provide us with a larger degree of financial ability to aquire a new mortgage on our new facilities.

Promote Our Current Ministries

We need to enhance our ability to promote our congregation and community before we are able to move into our new facilities. This includes increasing parking, increasing classroom space, and expanding our current ministries.

This campaign is projected to be up to $1,200,000.00.

Capital Campaign #2	2007 - 2010+
The Capital Campaign #2 will be used to fund the construction of our new facility. This campaign is projected to be about $3,000,000.00.
