DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR...If you walk into Resurrection at about 9:30 am on Sunday morning, you will be greeted by a multitude of “Flocks” of children. Chaos? No, it’s just a part of Resurrection’s Family Life Ministry in full swing. The children are on their way to The Living Well. The Living Well is our unique Sunday School for children aged 3 years through 5th grade. We have a rotational Sunday School which means that each month the kids travel to eight different “stations” to learn the same Bible story. What makes this model of Sunday School special is that it is geared to the interests, strengths, and learning styles of many different children. The children travel to Drama, Storytelling, Crafts, Computers, Activities, Broadcast News, Food Prep, Service, and more. No matter what type of learner your child is, they will experience the story in a way that is meaningful to them.

All our children are growing up faster than many of us did. They live in a world that moves at a faster pace than ours did. And whether we want to or not, we do need to keep up. To meet the needs of all our children, you will find that our 3-year olds through 2nd-graders will have an opening designed especially for them, while our 3rd-graders through 8th-graders will be participating in a Contemporary Praise and Worship closing.

“ALL ABOARD OUR VACATION BIBLE CAMP EXPRESS”...Each summer we invite children 3-years old through rising 6th graders to hop aboard the Bible Journeys Express and travel to different Bible lands to meet many of the people of the Bible. It’s an exciting week where anything can happen – a wet and scary storm, a fire from heaven, even the chance to sit in the belly of a whale or ride a chariot!

3-YEAR CONFIRMATION STUDIES...Part of the Confirmation process includes Sunday morning Sunday School. Students take time to explore the Old and New Testaments, as well as talking about what it means to be a Christian.

HIGH SCHOOLERS...High schoolers can participate in a variety of different activities throughout the year. Some of these activities include Book Studies, Drama Team, Puppet Team, Signing Team, serving at The Living Well helping the younger children and their teachers and more..

ADULT STUDIES...A variety of Adult Studies are available during the week and on Sundays. Please refer to the Church bulletin for a listing of the various studies of Christian life, and detailed Bible book studies, as well as different Adult Forums that are currently being offered.

FAMILY EVENTS...These are fun times when all members of our Resurrection family are invited to join in. Our Advent and Easter Fairs provide opportunities to make crafts to prepare our hearts and home for these special seasons.

Other family events include Homecoming in September, our Fall Festival in late October, and other events throughout the year.
