Nifty after Fifty (NAF) is a group of Resurrection Lutheran Church members who enjoy Christian fellowship and are at least 50 years in age. They share monthly luncheons and other outings and participate in service projects. Members take turns playing host for the group activities, which vary from year to year.
In 2015/2016, for example, NAF enjoyed lunch at a variety of restaurants serving everything from tacos to Crème Brûlée. The group welcomed several new RLC members, who have become NAF regulars. From its monthly free-will offerings, NAF was able to donate $400 toward the Stop Hunger Now project in September 2015. The group also purchased two large-print copies of Evangelical Lutheran Worship for use by members and visitors with impaired vision.
