USHER CHECKLIST

ü Check in with Council Person of the Day

ü Make sure sidewalks are clean

ü Make sure sanctuary is in order

ü Place cup of water at the pulpit

ü Put offering plates under your chair and make sure communion elements are in cabinet

ü Check that Visitor’s table is neat and clean

ü Greet all with a welcome and a smile…you are doing God’s work!

ü Always be attentive to people, especially visitors, who may need assistance

ü Count worshippers during the service and complete attendance card

ü Clean up afterward (Bibles and hymnals in rack, bulletins and trash pick up, etc.)
