Financial Secretary and Office Administrator
Here are two opportunities to participate in the life of Resurrection Lutheran Church.
1. Financial Secretary. This is a volunteer position that takes 2-4 hours of work per week.
We are looking for one individual to serve as the church’s financial secretary.
After a long and dedicated period serving in this position our current financial secretary, Bill Gellerman has decided to step down.
The duties and qualifications for the position are as follows and Bill will work with the new secretary during the transition.
Working in conjunction with the Treasurer, duties include:
- Separating bills payable for electronic payment or producing checks for the Treasurer's signature.
- Data entry of RLC deposits and bill payments into Quick Books.
- Mailing bills, filing and maintaining files.
- Use of spreadsheets and producing internal reports.

2. Office Administrator. This is a paid part-time position that takes 30 hours (negotiable) of work per week.
After years of service, Denise Sohlke has decided to step down.
The duties and qualifications for the position are as follows and Denise will work with the new administrator during the transition.
Working in conjunction with the Pastors and Music Minister, duties include:
- Creating the weekly bulletin.
- Serving as the scheduling authority for our facilities and managing the master calendar in the office and on-line.
- Sending and receiving mail.
- Answering e-mails, phones, doors, and general administrative work throughout the year in support of our many varied ministries.
