Resurrection Lutheran Church encourages all to give financial support above and beyond their tithe by making regular contributions (either using your offering envelopes or by electronically) to a particular ministry area that is special to you. We call these our Dedicated Funds. Below are some recommendations for our most popular funds. If you don't see one you like, simply talk to our Pastors or to Donna our contributions Secretary about starting a dedicated fund for your favorite area of ministry!
ELCA World Hunger. ELCA World Hunger is a comprehensive and sustainable program that uses multiple strategies—relief, development, education, and advocacy—to address the root causes of hunger and poverty. ELCA World Hunger responds to neighbors around the corner and around the world.
Virginia Synod United Lutheran Appeal. Helps support ministries affecting the lives of many throughout Virginia.
ELCA Disaster Relief. We help to bring God’s comfort, healing and renewal to those affected by disasters. And when the dust settles and the headlines change, we stay to provide ongoing assistance to those in need.
REsurrection Lutheran School. a Christ-centered program, nurturing the total child spiritually, academically, emotionally, and physically in a safe learning environment right here at RLC.
Our own Faith in Action Team. Helps support local programs in cooperation with other churches and organizations such as the Thurman Brisben Homeless Shelter and the Christ Lutheran Food Pantry.
